Rushall Jmi Head Teacher Personal Statement

Below are a few photos from our recent fundraiser for Alfie.

Well done Keeley and Dakota on your brave fundraising!

We are all really proud of you. The Little Princess Trust will make sure that your hair is put to very good use.

A Message from the Head Teacher

Welcome to Radleys' website! I am so pleased that you are thinking about sending your child here.

We have high expectations of all of our children and work closely with parents, carers, the wider family and community providers to ensure that our children can achieve. We offer a well-planned, fun and creative curriculum that allows all children to shine and our grounds and the surrounding area provide additional opportunities for outdoor learning.

Our curriculum is taught through topic themes in order to make work more relevant and interesting. This enables children to apply skills across the curriculum and to see links between their learning. We are also very proud of the high level of care and support they demonstrate towards each other and their whole school community.

We are passionate about our children, wanting them to be both happy and successful at school, but also enabling them to participate fully in all aspects of school life and in the wider world. We believe that strong home/school relationships are central to this.

Our latest Ofsted inspection was in March 2015 and we are very pleased that OFSTED recognised the school as GOOD in ALL areas, with elements of OUTSTANDING practice. Click here to read the report.

We welcome visits to our school to see the work we do and to sample the atmosphere and surroundings. We do hope you decide to send your child to school here; that they will enjoy the time they spend at our school and that we can enable them to succeed in all they do.

We look forward to meeting you!

Mrs Juli Copley

Head Teacher

Well done to Ms Shaw, Food Technology Teacher, and her BTEC/Asdan students (ably assisted by Mr Holmes, Asdan Teacher) who organised, prepared and delivered a fantastic three course meal to invited guests on Wednesday 12th October.  The Italian themed meal was to a very high standard and thoroughly enjoyed by all. A big thank you to all those who attend who included the Mayor, Kath Phillips and her husband Maurice, Dave Bryan, Community Police Officer, David Matthews, School Nurse, Pete Hickinbottom, Great Wyrley Boxing Club, Giovani from Gio’s Italian and Governor Dave Watton.  Steven certainly looks the part behind the wheel of the Mayor’s car! Pupils should be very proud of themselves as the feedback was amazing and the countdown is on for the next event! Further photographs are on the photo gallery page.
